Service Description

You will master the foundational skill of transforming herb-infused oils into healthy, effective winter salves and lip balms. What you will learn about: -the skin-supporting properties of comfrey, gotu kola, plantain, violets, thyme, and yarrow -how to craft herbal salves from infused oils -how to make lip balms (and chapsticks) from infused oils -basics of natural emulsifiers and preservatives (building on the information learned from the infused oils and body creams class - though it is not necessary to take both) What you will take home: -your very own tin of organic salve and a lip balm (a $22 value) -the knowledge and new skills to confidently make your own salves and lip balms -a PDF booklet of all recipes and techniques covered I prioritize quality and sustainability by using ethically sourced, organic, and locally-sourced herbs and ingredients whenever possible. All finished products use predominantly glass and metal packaging. Your PDF booklet will be emailed before the class for those who wish to print it.
