Herb-Infused Oils, Salves & Lip Balms

Service Description

You will learn the foundational skills of infusing oils with skin-supporting herbs, and transforming those infusions into healthy, effective salves and lip balms. Optional herb walk if you arrive at 9:30 am. What you will learn about: -the skin-supporting properties of six medicinal herbs -two methods of infusing herbs in oils -how to make salves and lip balms from infused oils -properties of different oils and natural preservatives You'll leave the class with: -Your very own tin of organic salve and a lip balm (a $22 value). -The knowledge and new skills to confidently make your own salves and lip balms. -A PDF booklet of all recipes and techniques covered. *I prioritize quality and sustainability by using ethically sourced, organic, and locally-sourced herbs and ingredients whenever possible. All finished products use predominantly glass and metal packaging. **Directions and the PDF booklet will be emailed the Wednesday before class for those who wish to print it.
