Movement, Yoga, Breath

Yoga is a sacred practice combining ecstatic movement, chanting, breath-work, and stillness. My intention as a yoga teacher is to encourage students to explore the dance of the subtle energy pulse within their own bodies.

A simple search on the internet provides a curious person with an endless supply of medical studies on the benefits of regular yoga practice. But science does not need to tell us what our bodies already know.

Diving into the practice and finding the inherent wisdom of yoga for yourself is even more convincing. Discover for yourself the meaning of deep intuition, peace, and freedom. I invite you to dive into the flow.

Full Moon Flows

Monthly

The full moon is a natural time for releasing what no longer serves you, celebrating the current cycle, and gathering your energy for what lies ahead. These workshops combine gentle movement, subtle energetic tools, and quiet self-inquiry to help you slow down and reconnect.

Gentle and Mixed Flow Yoga Classes

Weekly

Prana Flow yoga allows practitioners to discover a deeper energy within, an energetic pulse found through movement and embodied as the dance of the divine feminine. Breathwork, meditation, and chanting add depth to each class, allowing practitioners to transcend the everyday experience of the body and embrace fluid movement in a meaningful way.

About

My name is Jillian Randel

The benefits of yoga are limitless. What initially drew me to the practice was the emotional freedom that I felt as I moved through the physical postures. They supplied my mind with something to focus on, and ultimately, came to alleviate my stress and anxiety. I felt increased flexibility, better balance, and considerably greater strength than I ever had before.

As I developed a deeper relationship with my practice, I came to understand yoga as a movement-based therapy.  In 2010, I trained in the Prana Flow Yoga modality, created by Shiva Rea and taught by Micheline Berry. I attained my 200-hour certification and have since completed numerous trainings (full resume below) at the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health and the Asheville Yoga Center in areas including Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Shakti Meditation, Children's Yoga, Anatomy of Yoga, the Yoga Hatha Pradipika, Senior's Yoga, and Marma Point Therapy, among others.

I am excited about the resources, knowledge, and experience that I combine to offer my students the most well-rounded classes possible.
