Service Description

Learn to leverage the power of skin-supporting herbs and how to infuse oils with these powerful herbs (many are common "weeds"). Then we will take our infused oils and craft them into a beautiful lotion to keep your skin soft and smooth. What you will learn: -the properties of skin-supporting herbs, such as calendula, St. John’s Wort, rose, self-heal, lavender, and chamomile -two methods of infusing herbs in oils -how to make body cream from an infused oil -properties of different oils, emulsifiers, and natural preservatives What you will take home: -a 2 oz jar of organic body lotion ($25 value) -the practical skills to make your own skincare at home -a 15+ page PDF booklet featuring recipes and techniques learned in class *I prioritize quality and sustainability by using ethically sourced, organic, and (when possible) locally sourced herbs and ingredients from trusted farms and suppliers. All packaging is predominantly glass and metal. **Directions and the PDF booklet will be emailed the Thursday before class starts for those who wish to print it.
